Total retail sales of consumer goods doubled to 20.7 trillion Yuan in 2012 from 10.8 trillion Yuan in 2008 and is gradually forging ahead to surpass US to become the next largest consumer market in the world in the next few years. With higher incomes and increasing affluence, consumers are demanding better quality and unique services.
