As you decide when to arrive, please remember the onsite registration desks will be open beginning Tuesday. You may wish to arrive in time to pick up your pass early, to avoid queues.
How do I get an international visa invitation letter?
Attendees from countries requiring a visa invitation letter may request a letter when registering to attend. You must complete your registration and provide full payment before the letter will be sent. More information is available here.
What weather should I expect?
Since the event takes place in the middle of the 'Plum Rain Season', we may experience rain during Mobile Asia Expo. Due to the chance of rain, the humidity runs between 80% and 90%. At the same time, the air temperature is very high, ranging from 20-34 degrees centigrade, or 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit.
What is the voltage and Plug/Outlet used in China?
Electricity in China is 220 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. If you travel to China with a device that does not accept 220 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need a voltage converter. The most common plug types are dual and three-pointed prongs. Adapters are usually available in most of the hotels in Shanghai.
Is there an age requirement to attend Mobile Asia Expo?
Yes. The minimum age for all attendees is 16 years of age. Requests for exceptions to this rule must be made in writing and approved by GSMA. Attendees under the age of 16 will not be able to enter without GSMA’s prior written approval.
