As part of the APJ Executive team within Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Thomas Sennhauser is responsible for the CTO, NFV, SDN & IoT activities in the Communication, Media and Entertainment (CME) vertical. Additionally, Thomas manages the Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s growing ecosystem of technology partners, independent software vendors (ISVs) and independent hardware vendors (IHVs) focused on the CME domain with APJ. Thomas manages a team of Business Development Managers and has the added responsibility for driving business development and execution in the region, inclusive of reporting, forecasting, execution of proof-of-concepts/trials and business reviews. Thomas is the “The Machine” program evangelist for APJ as part of his role as the APJ representative for HPE Labs and as well as responsbility for the HPE OpenNFV labs in APJ.
Thomas has over 2 decades of experience in the telco industry and working several years for a national telecommunications company, having successfully held a variety of positions covering engineering, management, sales and business development. His domain of expertise spans business value, software engineering and infrastructure, including extensive knowledge of Operational Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) from a carrier’s perspective.
Prior to his current role Thomas was Principle Business Consultant within HPE for the telecommunication vertical on a global level, including responsibility for transformational projects within the telecommunications vertical.
Thomas holds a Masters in Software Engineering from Juventus Zurich and a Masters of Business Administration from University of St. Gallen Switzerland.
