As a special area at MWC Shanghai 2017, International Smart City Expo · Shanghai Pudong, organized by China Society for Urban Studies and Tongji University, supported by Shanghai Pudong New Area Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Pudong New Area Commission of Commerce, and GSMA, co-organized by Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and operated by Digital City Engineering Research Center, National Smart City Joint Lab and Shanghai Wistropolitan Exhibition Co., Ltd., will be held in Hall W1 at Shanghai New International Expo Center from Jun. 28th to 30th, 2017. In past years, the expo attracted around 300 participating exhibitors, including internationally renowned brands. 20,000 visitors from 277 pilot smart cities in China and other urban planning departments also attended the expo and congress.
Focusing on the construction and development of a Smart City, the expo will cover sectors of Mobile Communications, IoT, Urban Solutions, Smart Home, Smart Building and Smart Education to present how technologies and innovations improve people’s daily life and to let the participants experience the convenience that mobile technologies bring.
A smart city summit and a matchmaking event will be held during the expo. Delegates from around the globe will be in attendance including domestic smart city pilots, smart city authorities in different provinces and cities, smart city technical service providers, information support organizations, research & financial institutions, VC firms, fund management companies, real estate developers, smart city equipment suppliers, infrastructure construction institutions, scientific research workers and more will be invited to share successful cases, interpret the policies and connect to land the project.
International Smart City Expo · Shanghai Pudong will be a part of MWC Shanghai in 2017, gathering the influential mobile operators, famous internet companies and smart city solution providers together as a whole and is sure to attract more government buyer delegations and professional trade visitors.
