Join us at the Ford Connected Car Experience

Ford Motor Company is coming to Mobile Asia Expo 2013! Visit the Ford Connected Car Experience between Halls N1 and N2 where you can experience latest in-car connectivity and driver-assist technologies:

  • SYNC® and SYNC with MyFord Touch: SYNC is all about staying in touch, staying entertained, staying informed and staying reassured. All with simple voice commands. Never miss a phone call with hands-free calling. Have incoming text messages read aloud to you. Browse and play whatever you want to hear from your audio library with simple voice commands in your language.
  • Hands Free Liftgate: Using the same motion technology found in today’s video game systems, a gentle kicking motion under the centre of the rear bumper activates, unlocks and raises the tailgate when the driver has the Kuga key fob. This allows quick and easy access to the cargo area without needing to set down packages or dig out keys.
  • Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®): This sensor-based system displays an alert in the side mirror when a vehicle is detected entering a blind spot. Cross-traffic alert gives a warning if traffic is detected approaching from the sides, such as when you are reversing out of a parking space.
  • Active City Stop: Using an optical radar system, this feature helps reduce the risk of low speed collisions by monitoring the road in front for stationary traffic and then braking automatically if the system detects a stationary vehicle in its path of travel and a collision is imminent
  • Active Park Assist: Parallel parking is virtually stress-free with the system detecting an available parking space and automatically steering the vehicle into the space – with the press of a button. Drivers control only the accelerator and brake pedals.
