Building the Mobile Broadband Ecosystem for 700MHz band
Thursday, 27 June
15:00 – 16:30
Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Pudong Ballroom 5
The Asia Pacific Telecommunity Band Plan – growing the 700MHz Ecosystem
The move from analogue to digital television will free up a digital dividend of spectrum in the 700 MHz band for potential mobile broadband services.
Across this transition period there are two key concerns. The regulatory bodies wish to ensure that a healthy ecosystem is in place and the industry wish to have confidence in the size of the market and the timetable around the release of the spectrum band.
With many Latin American countries now committing to use this band for mobile services, now is an opportune time to discuss the state of the ecosystem for the 700MHz APT band plan in the Asia Pacific region and what actions can be taken to progress the use of this band by all parties.
Join in and share your views with key stakeholders from operators and regulators and vendors.
